By any historical and intellectual standards, the ancient African Egyptian civilization (KEMET) represent one of the most profound periods in human history. The African people of Kemet made enormous contributions to world civilization, and this website will pay homage to their great legacy. As we ponder the incredible journey we must take in the 21st century, there are moments when we may pause and reflect on the ancient and unknown scientific mysteries of Kemet and how that civilization may have even anticipated our 21st century journey.

Of all the ancient civilizations, none have left behind such an enormous wealth of architectural monuments and historical legacies, shrouded in deep impenetrable mysteries. Egypt speaks to us in a soothing and majestic ancientness, in a language written in multimedia symbols, archetypes and mythologies. Its serenity, its cultural splendor and love of knowledge, captures our imagination in ways that are beyond expression. For those of us who have fallen under her spell, Kemet's beauty and ancient wisdom leaves an indelible imprint on our minds and historical consciousness. And as we move forward in the 21st century, that historical consciousness is reawakened on a level of scientific curiosity: how advanced was the science and technology of their mystery system to have enabled them to make extraordinary advances in medicine, mathematics, astronomy (the ancient Black Kemites developed the 365-day calendar year that we use today), science, religion and spirituality, monument building and construction of massive pyramids, temples and statues that are still with us today! The ancient Kemetic people created an amazing civilization on the continent of AFRICA, and we indebted them for the thousands of years spent mastering a wide range of disciplines. Nile Valley Civilizations, and Kemet in particular, have come to represent the Holy Lands and a place of pilgrimage for many people around the world.

The study of Kemet is now drawing people from all walks of life: activists, intellectuals, scholars, researchers, educators, thinkers, writers, scientists, philosophers, ministers and pastors, and many other professionals. The conscious awareness of Kemet in the African Worldview has generated an intellectual, philosophical and spiritual revolution that can only be described as earth-shaking and universal. Kemet is calling all of us, and like the 1960s, we are answering that call, for many know that this is a time of a great intellectual awakening.

The GREAT SPHINX (Hor-em-akhet of the Giza plateau, a monument built over 10,000 years ago) has watched the sun rising in the east for thousands of years. If he could speak to us today, his sermon would bring a message of countless cycles of birth, growth, maturity, death and rebirth of human civilizations. Modern day scientists and engineers are still puzzled over how these ancient people managed to move and place in position on pyramids, temples and other monumental structures - with mathematical precision - enormous limestone blocks weighing from 2 1/2 to 200 tons. Today's modern technology would be hard-pressed to perform the same feat. The full breadth and width of Kemet's techno-complex remains a mystery.

This website celebrates and supports the rise of KEMETOLOGY (in the 21st century) as the most important intellectual and scientific voice in disseminating knowledge and understanding regarding Nile Valley and African civilizations. In my view Egyptologists have clearly lost the moral ground in this respect and many support unscientific assumptions. Most will not acknowledge the archaeological findings of Keith Seele and Bruce Williams on Ta-Seti (in 1962) or the 12 categories of proof presented by Cheikh Anta Diop and Theophile Obenga at the Cairo Symposium held in Cairo, Egypt in 1974. Some create false images to worship (the bogus forensic image of King Tut in 2005) and present that as proof in support of their false and biased racial theories. Others simply have a closed mind to any new information that clearly demonstrate the ridiculousness of a particular position they have taken on Kemet. At some point they are bound to run out of historical constructs that will NOT meet the standards of modern scientific examination in an international forum. However, what needs to be clearly understood is the fact that mainstream Egyptology (heavily funded with tons of money) will no doubt make use of various information age technologies to further their claims of a non-African genesis of ancient Kemet. And they will fail!

But let me be clear on a very significant point, that the primary focus of Kemetologists should not be debating Egyptologists in endless cycles of racial theory. That battle has been fought and won by a long list of scholars over the past two centuries. It is TIME to move on to more important matters regarding Kemet: there is a whole cultural wealth of exciting things to be uncovered in this dynamic civilization. Let 2017 be a defining moment in the history of the world when Black Kemetologists and others (and their supporters) break free from orthodox Egyptology, similar to when the Protestants broke free of the Catholic church. Regardless of the misinformation still circulating throughout the world (in 2017) in mainstream media, it can definitely be noted that the foundation of classical orthodox Egyptology has been disrupted in a major way. The intellectual battle for the struggle of Egypt (Kemet) will continue for some time to come, however Kemetologists will need to develop new strategies to assert a stronger competitive position in the confrontation with Egyptologists in coming years.

We are living in a time when we need to expand the historical consciousness of the world, not limit it with outdated and racist theories of the 19th century. All of us need hard facts and need to face hard realities free from fairy tales and out-dated belief systems. For African and European descendants living in America who refuse to explore or consider any history concerning Black people prior to 1492, I would say that this is a fatal error in intellectual judgment which will lead to nothing but mental limitations, confusion, fear and despair. The notion that anyone who has ever lived on this planet in a black or brown skin (and considered African) is incapable of developing civilizations or creating any aspect of the arts and sciences, is probably the greatest FALSEHOOD that has ever been devised by any civilizational mindset in the known (and possibly unknown) history of the world: we have to go far beyond this type of thinking. To Kemetologists and their supporters, this is tantamount to believing that the world is flat or that sun revolves around the earth. It's ALL very unscientific!

And many people (in all races and walks of life) live and breathe this venom everyday of their lives not realizing how destructive it is. In addition, many people throughout the world of mixed race heritiage and mixed race marriages need clarity and a broader sense of understanding the historical legacy of Black people in world civilization: we all need a complete history of the world and not some one-sided version loaded with political agendas, fakery and false superior notions. But this is consistent throughout the educational system in Western Civilization, for many white (and some black) American scholars and educators have conditioned white, black and other racial groupings to reject any notion of black scientific development and black people as builders of civilization: this is the paradox we face and the challenges of this new millennium. However, it is also clear that all of this must change, and that too is the major challenge we face as we proceed in the 21st Century.

As the coauthor of Black Futurists in the Information Age (a book published in 1997) we issued a call for a scientific and technological revolution in the Black world and we labeled that call KyberGenesis. The KyberGenesis mission was a call for a simultaneous revolution of the spirit and creative mind-set of African Americans (and Black people throughout the world) to find and redefine themselves in the midst of the broad-sweeping changes reshaping our world for the 21st century and beyond. As Futurists we offered a vision and a new paradigm to the African American community, besieged and mentally trapped in a 400-year room of history. A room of severe limitations and massive distortions of who we are as a people; our true history and the enormous scientific and technological contributions that Black people have made throughout the known human history of this planet. Indeed we felt that it was time for a major revision on how we view the world, ourselves and the current and past civilizations of planet earth. The KyberGenesis philosophy seeks to dismantle these historical distortions and expand our mental universe.

This is the mission of this generation: to free the African mind in the Information Age Revolution. Now is the Time; the Ancestors are calling for this. Kemetology and the KyberGenesis connection!
